About Gale
I always wanted to be an author, yet it took me many years to finally begin. I was able to retire early, and after moving to Arizona, I discovered the sport of pickleball. I looked for a book that would teach me to play better, but there weren't many. Instead, I started taking notes and eventually realized I was writing the book I'd been looking for. The Art of Pickleball was published in 2005, and its success led me to think seriously about writing fiction -- the writing I'd always hoped to do.

In 2011, I started my own publishing company, Two Cats Press, and published the first of my children's books, a heroic fantasy called Bruce and the Road to Courage. That novel was followed by four more in the series. I'm currently working on a fantasy series for teens/YA that involves technology and magic, multiple worlds, and creatures you only thought were mythological.
I recently moved to the Texas Hill Country with my own hero (husband) of many years. We share our home with Willow (a rescue dog), Freya and Percy (two rescue kittens), a bearded dragon named Fang, and countless dust bunnies that shall remain nameless.
When I'm not writing, playing music, or singing, you might find me reading, doing genealogy, or chasing the dust bunnies.
